• I PURCHASED, WHERE IS MY ENTRY FORM?

  There are 3 ways to find your entry form.

  • Within your woocommerce receipt
  • On the page you are taken to after you purchase your entry
  • Within your Your Account page.

  1. It is contained in the woocommerce receipt:

  After you purchased your entry or coaching session, you must fill out your ride information.  You can do this by clicking on the link embedded in the woocommerce receipt.

  #1  Look in your email box.  You will see a two different types of email. One is a backup access to your entry from, the other is your purchase receipt.

  

  #2 Open the email and click  on the entry form for each ride:

  

  #3  Fill out each ride, upload your video and click on submit.  You have now entered the show.

• DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT AN ENTRY FORM?

  YES.  Filling out the online application is a key component to tracking your ride and giving feedback to the assigned horse show manager.  You can find your online entry forms under your profile.

• HOW DO I SEE MY RIDE RESULTS?

  After your have entered the show, you can see your ride entry under your profile

  

  To view your ride and it’s status, click on the entry form bar.  You will then see your video and the present status of the ride.  There are 3 status.  

  1. Waiting For Judge : Waiting for your assigned judge to judge your ride.
  2. At the Show Office : Your ride has been judged and is now being verified by the show office.
  3. Completed : You will now see your completed ride & scores.  If you have entered a show, you will be placed on the score board.

  

• HOW WILL I KNOW MY RIDE HAS BEEN JUDGED?

  You will get an email, with all your scores, after your ride has been judged and completed.  You may also get a text message, if you have granted permission and provided a mobile number (United States & Canada only). 

  After receiving the email  you can log onto your account and view the results in full with your video.  Rides area guaranteed to be saved for the present show season.

• MY HORSE IS OFF OR LAME BEFORE I FILMED. NOW WHAT?

  We are so sorry that your horse is unable to complete the video.   

  If you email the show office (office@virtualhorsesport.com) PRIOR to the end of the horse show, we will credit you toward a different show or move you to a future coaching session.  As soon as your horse is well enough, tell us and we will make it happen for you.

• ARE THERE ANY RULES TO THE VIRTUAL HORSE SHOWS?

  Yes, there are.

  A priority is always the health and safety of the horse.  So there are certain precautions we have taken to protect the horse as much as possible.

  WDAA Shows are very specific about what is acceptable for points acquisition.

  SCHOOLING SHOW RULES
  Classical Dressage Schooling shows, are competitions yet are not recognized by the USEF or USDF. The are used for education and for fun, while still protecting the horse as much as possible and making the competition as equal as possible for all riders.

• WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHOWS AND RIDE & REVIEW?

  “Shows”, either WDAA recongized or Classical Dressage Schooling Shows are events in which your results are placed against the results of other riders.

  Ride & Review is a coaching session, where you ride a test and a license USEF judge will judge the ride, give comments, BUT ALSO give tips on training on how your can improve.  Your scores will not be placed on a scoreboard.  Ride & Review is available for Western Dressage and Classical Dressage. 

• DO YOU HAVE ONLY DRESSAGE?

  We are in the process of adding other disciplines to the Virtual Horse Sport Service.  Some of the types of rides we are looking at are:

  Equitation
  Reining
  Gaited Horses
  Vaulting

• WHY IS THERE A "PATENT PENDING" SIGN ON THE SITE

  The Patent Pending sign is that our sponsored company, Multimedia Designs, LLC, has applied for and been granted a license to develop this software.  The patent has been applied for by CEO Debbie Kurth and  is called “THE VIRTUAL SPORTS COMPETITION“.  A utility patent the controls the application of  online non-combative virtual sports, equestrian being one of those sports.

  The patent will be completed by August 2021

• THE JUDGE SAID MY HORSE IS OFF!!!!

  First we are sorry to hear your horse may have a physical issue.  We strong urge you to contact your vet as soon as possible.

  Your horse may have a history, be older or other situation that could cause your horse to look ill-regular aka “off” or “lame”.  Judges only have one basis, what they “see”.  Based on their well trained experience, they can only go by that visual. It is the judges  job to report these observations, just as they would in a physical horse show.  In a location based show aka physical, the whistle would have been blown, you and your horse asked to come to the judge’s booth, given an explanation and excused from continuing. 

  For online shows, it is the same. Whatever the experience of the Judge says about how your horse is going, is final.
